Julio Le Parc, 1958 -> 2023, Galleria Continua, San Giminiano, 2023

After his debut at the Galleria Continua in Paris, Julio Le Parc brings a series of works to San Gimignano for the first time. Argentine painter, sculptor and plastic artist who settled in France in 1958, precursor of kinetic art and Op Art.

He applies the same treatment to color that he applies to shapes, using not only some shades, but all colors, pure and unshaded, neither with black nor with white. The shapes lose their individuality in favor of an active surface capable of establishing a visual connection with the viewer, offering a multitude of potential changes contained in each work.
